The açaí berry is a purple fruit that grows in the Amazon Delta in Brazil. The berry is known as a superfood because it is rich in antioxidants. Açaí can be enjoyed in many ways, for example as a smoothie or as an açaí bowl for breakfast.

The special thing about açaí is that the berries grow wild in nature and not on plantations. Trees in the rainforest are thus protected from being cleared, unlike, for example, in cattle breeding or soya plantations. Açaí thus actively contributes to the environmental protection of the Brazilian rainforest. In addition, the berries are traded directly with local farmers and are therefore not only "fair trade" but also "direct trade". The boom of the açaí berry thus gives the farmers a real and economic incentive to protect the rainforest.

An individual best-before date is indicated on all products. Generally, all frozen Açaí Packs have a shelf life of approximately 18 months and all Açaí Bowls To Go have a shelf life of approximately 30 days from the date of purchase. Please make sure that you store your açaí correctly as indicated on the packaging.

Yes, all our products are vegan, organic, lactose-free, soy-free and contain no preservatives. We rely on the highest quality ingredients, treated or processed without chemicals to offer you the best açaí smoothies and bowls available on the market.

This is due to physical reasons, because we do not use sugar. Sugar causes a shift in the freezing point of ice, just like road salt on the sidewalk in winter.
Most ice cream manufacturers simply put enough sugar in the ice so that it is soft even at -18 degrees. To a lesser extent, the freezing point is also influenced by the fat content, so fat is added to conventional ice cream.
Of course, that is not our claim. Our claim is to use only real healthy food as ingredients for our ice cream and we do not include sugar. We sweeten with dates instead of (refined) sugar. This means that our ice cream contains only the fructose contained in the fruits and this is much lower than with normal ice cream, resulting in a much higher freezing point, about -7 to -10 degrees, compared to about -14 to -20 degrees with normal ice cream.
But this does not mean that our ice cream is less creamy. It just means that you have to give the ice cream the time it needs to reach the right temperature. Only then does it develop its full aroma.

We harvest our açaí at the optimal ripening time and only by direct shock freezing the vitamins and minerals are preserved for a long time.

The Açaí Bowls are not pasteurized with heat but with high pressure. This process is called High Pressure Processing (HPP). The vitamins and minerals of the açaí bowls are thus preserved. A refrigerated storage is important to enjoy the bowls for as long as possible.

We produce our frozen Acai Smoothie Packs near the harvest area in Brazil. Our Acai Bowls To Go are produced in Bavaria.

No. You put the frozen açaí smoothie packs directly into the blender with banana, water/milk and agave syrup. To make it easier to take the Açaí Packs out of the pack, you should hold them briefly under lukewarm water.
